The Small Hydro Project Holi II of 7 MW was identified under Self Identification Scheme of HIMURJA, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. The detailed project report (DPR) has been produced and worked upon by Alternate Hydro Energy Center (AHEC), IIT, Roorkee. During the prepration of report, esteemed organizations such as Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Himalayan Surveying Services and KainGeotech have thoroughly investigated the project.The DPR was duly submitted to Govt. of Himachal Pradesh in July, 2009. All the NOC of the Project as per Himachal Pradesh & Central Govt. requirements are available. The Local Area Development Committee (LADC) formed for CSR activity. The project land which is 100% forest land is duly transferred & paid for by the promoters, is available in the project company. The main requirements of Hydro project are Consent to Establish from Pollution Control Board and Possession of explosive license, both are duly compiled.

The expert consultants work order for preparation and designs completed by experts of Synergics, India and VERKIS, Iceland. The connectivity of Power evacuation with Open Access permission is available and final sanction for open access available vide no. GC-15 dated 25/07/2013 by Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (HPPTCL).
