Mr. Ravi Kumar Gupta, 60 yrs is responsible for overall management, as Chairman and Director of Manufacturing & Trading Business of OPG group companies. The Businesses includes Power Generation, Steel Manufacturing & Trading and Logistics (Container Freight Station & Warehousing).

Mr. Ravi Kumar Gupta graduated with a degree in Commerce at the University of Madras. He has joined his family business in 1975 to help his father Late Mr. Om Prakash Gupta, the founder of OPG Group of Industries. Since then, he has been at the helm of the Group and has taken the group to soaring highs.

With experience that is approaching to 4 decades mark, he has gained knowledge at grass root in various departments like Manufacturing, Marketing’s, Accounts, Maintenance, Banking, Liaison with the Government & other agencies, etc. He was instrumental in Planning, Strategizing, setting up, successfully commissioning & managing all the companies of OPG Group.

Mr. Ravi Kumar Gupta, Started with the family business of Flour Mill. He later diversified into Iron & Steel, Power Generation, and Logistics etc gradually.
